Frisco Community Parade Honoring LGBTQIA+ Veterans
On Veterans Day - Saturday, November 11, 2023, Pride Frisco marched in the Frisco Community Parade, carrying portraits of famous LGBTQIA+ Veterans past and present, flags of the United States military branches: Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and Space Force, the American and Pride Frisco flags behind our Pride Frisco Banner.
Thank you to our amazing volunteers including two members of Veterans for Equality who traveled a great distance to be in community with us.

Honoring United States LGBTQIA+ Veterans
Historically, LGBTQIA+ veterans have faced unique and significant challenges serving in the United States military due to discriminatory laws, practices, and attitudes.
Pride Frisco acknowledges and honors the incredible sacrifices of our U.S. LGBTQIA+ veterans and their loved ones past and present.
